Content

This lecture covers the fundamentals of physical simulation for visual effects, with a particular emphasis on fluid simulations and elasticity. The lecture and exercises will all be in English. The following topics are discussed:

  • Discretziation & accuracy
  • Fluid modeling
  • Advection & pressure
  • Single- and multi-phase flow
  • Elasticity modeling
  • Finite element discretization
  • Implicit integration
  • Visualization techniques
