Die Einfürungsveranstaltung wird am Donnerstag, den 29.Jan.2009 um 15:30 in Raum MI 02.13.010 statt finden.


This practical course starts with an introduction to Microsoft's DirectX 10 application programming interface. Students will learn how to map the rendering pipeline -as presented in the computer graphics lecture- onto state of the art graphics hardware. After an introductory phase of approximately one month, participants will be split up into teams of 2 students and spend the remaining time to implement a complete software system covering a characteristic topic in computer graphics and scientific visualization (e.g. volume rendering, particle tracing, terrain rendering, etc).
