Inhalte (aus der Modulbeschreibung):

Komponenten moderner Grafik-Hardware, Interaktivität und Echtzeit-Anforderung, Die Fixed-Function Rendering Pipeline, Geometrische Modellierung, Transformationen und Matrizen-Stapel, Hidden Surface Removal, Farbe, Transparenz und Farbmischung, Anti-Aliasing, Nebel und atmosphärische Effekte. Beleuchtungsmodelle und Schattierungsverfahren, Texture Mapping (Foto-Texturen, Mehrfach-Texturen, Projektive Texturen, Umgebungs-Texturen), Animationen, Die programmierbare Rendering Pipeline (Vertex- und Pixel-Shader), Raytracing und Radiosity.
